If you're in the market for an alternative to plastic or metal water bottles, here are a few options:

Holds 22 ounces; weighs 19 ounces unfilled
The cap at the mouthpiece is attached but flips back for sipping. The bottles are slightly curved, making them easy to hold.

This vessel is cute enough to encourage hydration 24/7. It’s my go-to water bottle in my offi ce, in the car and during my yoga practice. Glass covered with colorful silicone means it’s BPA-free, dishwasher-safe and survives accidental drops. I love the classic cap, but you can also opt for a flip mouth or a straw design —a style for every sort of sipper!

Many BPA-free plastics are just as bad for us as the BPA-laden (byphenol A) kind, and in some cases, are possibly worse, according to research by neurobiology professor George Bittner and his team at CertiChem...
But, the looming question is: what should be used instead?
I have one Lifefactory glass bottle with a flip cap that I like a lot. The sleeve gives you a good grip on the bottle and the flip top with the carrying handle is definitely an improvement over the plain bottle which has a very wide mouth and led me to spill water, typically on my clothes while drinking.
