I have tons of metal water containers from promotions at work, I hate that they are hard to clean, even with a baby bottle brush, and that they tend to taste funny. A co-worker of mine has one of these bottles and when I asked where she got it, she brought in one for me. I love that the water tastes like water! It's also super easy to clean and I love that it's clear so I can see if I missed anything. Trying to look into the metal ones was a disaster!! (Posted on 9/30/11)

Like other reviewers, I am in love with these bottles! These are not cheap or flimsy; they're very durable and they stand the test of time. My kitchen has a hard tiled floor (ceramic?). Glass items that are dropped on it easily shatter into a million pieces. I purposely dropped an empty 22 oz. LifeFactory bottle w/sleeve on it, just to see if it would cause damage. I'm 5'5" and I dropped it from about waist high. It did not even so much as crack, let alone shatter. I am very particular about what I put into my body because I have an auto-immune illness. These are generally brought on by a combination of pre-disposition in genetics (about 30% of the cause), along with toxic overload (about 70% of the cause). I have cut all things toxic out of my body as much as possible and my neurologist is shocked at my recovery (read the book "The Auto-immune Epidemic", Highly recommneded!!). LifeFactory bottles has played a major role in my life in doing so. I drink ionized water, which must be stored in glass. I take four bottles to work every single day, and I work in dresses and heels so if you're thinking "too heavy", don't.

I also agree that valves are a pain to clean, I refused to buy bottles like that. I also turned to metal after I found out plastic can be toxic (before I got the water ionizer), only to find out that heavy metals are one of the worst forms of toxins! I quickly rid my cabinets of those and went "in search of" on the internet. That's how I ended up finding LifeFactory bottles. I wish this company much success. I won't buy any other brand.

I never liked the plastic flavor of bottled water and metal bottles were ok, but difficult to clean. Then I got an insider tip and pre-ordered my LIfefactory water bottle. It was love at first sight. The large mouth design and easy to clean glass makes flavoring my water with a bit of lemon, mint or cucumber practically effortless. I like the top too. I love this bottle. My husband and I use these as our daily water bottles. We put them in the dish washer and I love how easy it is to clean. My only wish is that there was a smaller size for our toddlers to take to school. Something that can fit in their lunch boxes and a different cap possibly with a flip top so they do not have to unscrew each time. My kids don't need sippy cups and I don't like the bottles with straws, valves that are a pain to clean.

I purchased 2 of these bottles after seeing them mentioned in Vegetarian Times May/June 2010. My husband and I use them as our daily water bottles and we are both really happy with the product. The cover is sturdy, the silicone outside feels great, and the variety of colors are nice as well. They are also pretty easy to clean and I like knowing that they are BPA free. In case you were wondering, the bottle weights about 1 pound, 1 ounce without any liquid in it. It almost fits in the water bottle holder on my bicycle. (Posted on 6/15/10)

What a pretty bottle. I ordered this bottle from www.lifefactory.com because I have been using plastic Camelbak's to hold both water and iced lattes. I am finding that plastic retains too much smell... even if I soak the bottle in baking soda or run it through the dishwasher. So I made it my mission to find a better bottle. I was looking through a magazine last month when I came across this beautiful bottle. It is made out of glass and has a high quality silicone sleeve so that it won't break if dropped. I tried it this morning with my iced latte... and then rinsed it out to take to FlyWheel. To my surprise NO latte taste, even with a quick rinse. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
