Lifefactory Partners with Baby2baby to Provide Essential Items to Families Living in Poverty Nationwide

Partnership comes as part of community-based emergency response to help families during COVID-19

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (June 8, 2020) – Lifefactory, a sub brand of Thermos L.L.C., has committed to helping families in need nationwide get essential items during this crisis through a donation to Los Angelesbased, national non-profit Baby2Baby, which provides basic essentials to children living in poverty. With Lifefactory’s roots in California and a mission to inspire healthy living through glass products that grow with families, the partnership is a natural fit between the two organizations.

Baby2Baby has distributed over 20 million essential items including diapers, hygiene, formula, baby food and more to some of the most vulnerable families across the country impacted by COVID-19. This includes deliveries over 200 partner agencies spanning school districts, homeless shelters, health clinics, foster care, hospitals, clinics and more.

The partnership initiative is part of Lifefactory’s community-based emergency response to the crisis surrounding COVID-19, as families living in poverty struggle to get basic necessities such as diapers, hygiene products, baby food and blankets.

“We at Lifefactory feel a responsibility to help our nation’s children and their families during this challenging time. Parents should not have to worry about making an impossible choice to pay for utilities or rent over food and diapers for their children. We understand the urgency to get families the basic supplies they need”, said Julie Henricks, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Thermos L.L.C. "Through this donation, we aim to support Baby2Baby’s initiatives and provide aid during this time.”
