Welcome to our archive of special edition styles we’ve created over the years. These bottles are no longer available for sale but they are sure nice to look back on.
In the summer of 2014, we released a limited edition run of 200 Daren Joy Signature Series VII bottles.
$5 from every bottle sold was donated directly to Zero Breast Cancer in Marin County, CA.
Zero Breast Cancer is a community based organization dedicated to prevention and finding the causes of breast cancer through local participation in the scientific research process. They focus on identifying environmental factors and the role they play in breast cancer at all stages of life and across generations. Find more information at http://zerobreastcancer.org/
We asked, you answered and we delivered. We asked our community on Facebook if they’d like a clear sleeve collection for juicing and smoothies – so you can see the color of your healthy creations. They said, quite emphatically, “YES!”
So, we produced our Limited Edition Clear Sleeve Collection designed for juicing and smoothies. The 9 oz bottles are great smaller volume satellite containers while the 16 and 22 oz bottles are perfect for your daily dose.
In the Fall of 2013, for the sixth Daren Joy Signature Series we teamed up with Healthy Child Healthy World (healthychild.org). Their mission is to empower parents to take action and protect children from harmful chemicals.
We are proud to be partners with Healthy Child and contribute to their good work on behalf of healthy families.
$5 from every DJSS VI bottle sold was donated directly to Healthy Child Healthy World.
The Golden Gate Bridge is visited by millions of people from all over the world every year. Join us in making it easier for visitors to refill reusable bottles while enjoying this national treasure. Together we’ll limit the use of disposable plastic water bottles in this highly-trafficked and environmentally-sensitive area.
We teamed up with the National Park Service and GLOBALTAP (www.globaltap.org) to donate a filling station at the Golden Gate Bridge main visitor center promenade in San Francisco. 100% of the proceeds of the Daren Joy Signature Series V bottles were donated to fund this new filling station in the Summer of 2013.
We sold 300 bottles – 150 22 oz and 150 16 oz – in this limited edition collection. Thank you to those of you that purchased a DJSSV bottle for your partnership in this important project. Next time you visit the bridge, fill up and enjoy the view.
At Lifefactory, our primary concerns are health and safety. The health and safety of our planet, our communities, our families and ourselves. However, we also recognize that there are too many people who live in circumstances where healthy products do not equate to safety.
For this Signature Series in Spring 2013, we decided to make a small effort toward helping homeless young people in San Francisco. $5 from every Signature Series IV bottle sold was donated to Homeless Youth Alliance San Francisco.
We made 100 22 oz and 100 16 oz bottles in these distinctive color combinations. Each bottle came with a personally signed and numbered plantable seedpaper hangtag.
To help celebrate the 2012 holiday season, we launched the third installment of the Daren Joy Signature Series. We offered 100 22 oz and 100 16 oz bottles in these distinctive color combinations. In summer 2012, Daren travelled to the Yucatan in Mexico to study natural healing techniques from indigenous Mayan families. The Daren Joy Signature Series ll collection from September 2012 was inspired by and dedicated to these Mayan families and their efforts to preserve the sophisticated wisdom of the natural world. $5 from every DJSS II bottle was donated to the TZUNU’N KAN’AN (golden hummingbird in Mayan) Foundation.
Lifefactory co-founder, Daren Joy, created this special collection in June 2012. We made 100 22 oz and 100 16 oz bottles. Each bottle came with a personally signed and numbered plantable seedpaper hangtag. $5 from every Signature Series bottle sold was donated to The San Francisco Arts Education Project (www.sfartsed.org) which is dedicated to bringing experiential arts and creativity to public schools.
